Attorney Javier Rivera
Originally from El Paso, Javier Rivera was raised in Houston, Texas graduating from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, majoring in both Sociology and History. After spending two years as a social worker for the Alief School District, Javier attended Florida Coastal School of Law, were he earned his law degree. Following completion of his law degree, Javier attended the University of Houston and graduated with a Legal Masters in International Law. Javier currently serves as the founding and managing attorney for the Law Office of Javier Rivera, practicing in the areas of removal defense, federal court litigation, family and employment-based immigration. He is board certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, serves as the Chair for the State Bar Committee on Laws Related to Immigration and has been recognized by Thomson Reuters as a Texas Super Lawyer.
